Castle of Chambord
The Castle of Chambord, a masterpiece from the French Renaissance period and the largest castle in the Loire with its facade stretching for 128 meters, its 440 rooms, 77 staircases and 365 fireplaces.
Visit the royal apartments of François Ier and Louis XIV, the Hunting and Nature Museum and enjoy the beautiful panorama that offers domain terraces.
The castle's park is a wonderful territory of hunting. Built on order of François Ier, the Chambord's Castle is located at the heart of the largest enclosed forest park of Europe (5441 hectares). He houses many animals including deer and wild boar are the iconic species.
The castle is open every day except on the 1st January, 04th February and 25th December.
02 January - 29 March: 10.00am to 5.00pm
30 March - 30 September: 9.00am to 6.00pm
01 October - 31 December: 10.00am to 5.00pm
