A castle is built later than the tenth century. This is Henry II Plantagenet, Count of Anjou and King of England from 1154, will give the fortress its current form by including a new palace on the Fort St George.
After five years of restoration work unprecedented in Europe, to give back to the fortress its military splendor and cohesion of yesteryear, welcome to the fortress of the third millennium!
